Vineyard Development: A Family Affair

Art and Mary Kuenzi married in 1980 and had 1 daughter followed by 5 sons. Their son Landon tragically died in 2009, but is never far from their hearts. Currently there are 6 grandchildren.

Brush clearing, stump and rock removal with Art and sons. Countless hours with chainsaws, D4 Caterpillar and 120 Mitsubishi Excavator.

Ripping, tiling, earthmoving. Grooming the soil to transform the steep slopes into a viable vineyard site.

Grafting scion wood onto native root stalk. Potting the plants and placing in the greenhouse. Making memories and building a family legacy.
